Renate’s words of inspiration for InspiringWomen subscribers:

Every age and every stage of life brings with it gifts and challenges. Try each day to achieve something, to be grateful for something, and remember to have some fun.

Focus on different rather than better than. Take calculated risks, make mistakes, but resolve to learn from them.

Remind yourself that all you have is now, yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never arrive.

Don’t live to impress others, they are not looking anyway!

Express appreciation, learn to reframe criticism positively.

Value those that matter.

Have the courage to think, question tradition and don’t follow blindly in the footsteps of those who have gone before.

Find out who you were meant to be, then live that reality to the full as if no one is watching.
