With a penchant for sales and international travel, Masithokoze Moyo-Thompson founded Angel Wings Aviation in 2008. As stated on the company’s website, “Angel Wings Aviation is a forward-thinking, dynamic, diverse company dedicated to delivering unparalleled customer service to each individual clientele. We are also a hub of aviation empowerment for youth and disadvantaged communities. We have access to almost an infinite range of luxurious private jets and executive helicopters available through the most reliable jet charter operators around the world.” As chief executive officer, Mrs. Moyo-Thompson provides clients with private jets and executive helicopters, networks with pilots, and custom tailors services to clients, all within as little as 24-hours notice. Her daily responsibilities include managing a staff of 18 people in the sales and operations departments, approving all aspects of business operations, and handling security for the company. Mrs. Moyo-Thompson holds a private pilot’s license, which she completed in 2006. In pursuit of higher education, she is also completing an MBA at Robert Kennedy College while simultaneously running her business. In the future, Ms. Moyo-Thompson plans to expand her business by networking and branding internationally.

Mrs. Moyo-Thompson is the founder of The Masithokoze Foundation, and an affiliate of Women In Corporate Aviation, Women in Aerospace, Business Networking South Africa, and International Aviation Women’s Association. In her spare time, she enjoys networking – she calls herself a “serial networker” and blogging and writing.

The event to be hosted by the Hilton Hotel in Manchester and will feature aviation gurus in the United Kingdom, as well as delegates from all over the globe.

Co-founder of Angel Wings Aviation, Masithokoze Moyo-Thompson, now based in Manchester (UK) and Karl Smith, founder of Business Networking South Africa, first met a few years ago in Gauteng where he was a guest speaker. “Our connection and relationship is truly a networking success story. I am humbled and honoured to share in the joy of Masithokoze Moyo-Thompson and her husband Gerry Thompson” said Karl.

Masithokoze is a private pilot and served as the only woman executive director at Alpine Aviation, an aviation company that flew privately, serving private clients, including government officials in the Southern Africa region, including providing flights to multi-billionaires and international celebrities. Along the way she has earned numerous awards, including being nominated as one of South Africa's Most Influential Women in Business. Not only is Masithokoze Moyo-Thompson a shining example of what women can accomplish, but she also works actively to create opportunities and make them more accessible to others.

Also set to attend is the South African Deputy High Commissioner - Miss Bongiwe Qwabe to present Aviation Bursaries to be awarded to Wanda Mafate, Ontefetse Bradley-Precious Matjila, and Harrison Debra, from South Africa and Ghana respectively.
