Mr. Asiedu is the Chairman of over twenty companies in Ghana and Dubai with wide scope of operations fromSteel Manufacturing, Oil Palm Plantations, Real Estate Development, Property Management, Warehousing, Energy Services, Mining & Refinery, Tank Farm Development, Equipment Hiring & Haulage Services, Banking to the Hospitality Industry. He directly employs over 2,000 workers.
He is the owner of Atlantic Trust Holdings Limited, Atlantic Steel Company Limited, Special Steels Limited, Innova Holdings Limited, Innova Development Limited and Palisades Guest House Limited.
He owns the majority shares and in some, equal shares in these companies: Atlantic Tradex FZC, Atlantic Holdings Ltd, Atlantic Investment Holdings Limited, Omnivest Trading DMCC, Coronation Trust Resources Limited, Sunshine Steel Industries Limited, Continental Ventures Limited, Bomar Atlantic Limited, Eden Atlantic Limited, Greenterra International Ltd, IES Energy Services Limited, North Birim Rural Bank Limited, Classic Microfinance Limited, etc.
Mr. Asiedu is a Consultant to Wilmar Africa Limited, which presently owns the “Frytol” edible oil brand in Ghana and Benso Oil Palm Plantation (BOPP) as well.
Mr. Asiedu has worked as an Investment Banker for 16 years with JP Morgan Chase in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group as a Vice President.
He was instrumental as a team member in most of Motorola’s acquisitions in the 90s.
For three years, Mr. Asiedu served as the Managing Director of Continental Telecom Group, Inc – a group put together by Motorola to own and operate its African Gateway in the Irridium Project. He has also served as an External Consultant to the African Development Bank (ADB).
Mr. Asiedu has an MBA (Finance) from Stern – New York University and a Post-graduate Certificate in Finance and Investments from Wharton – University of Pennsylvania.
