Vincent Orlando - As President and Chief Executive Officer of Guardian Managers (UK) Limited, Vincent is responsible for formulating the strategic direction of the business, fund raising, as well as providing leadership to a senior team of Directors, Fund Managers and Asset Managers.
Vincent comes from an investment banking background, where over the last 15 years he has forged a career as a senior investment professional, with expertise across several asset classes and jurisdictions.
During that period, Vincent has held senior banking and fund management positions at global financial institutions, including: Morley Fund Management/Aviva, JP Morgan, UBS Global Asset Management, Morgan Stanley Private Equity and Marcol Group.
Immediately prior to becoming a Principal Shareholder and CEO of Guardian, Vincent was the Senior Portfolio Manager of a European private equity fund, where for a period of 3 years, he assembled, structured and was in charge of £600 Million of invested assets. As a transactions leader, he has over the past 6 years structured/closed investment deals in excess of £5 Billion.
By way of academic background, Vincent possesses multi-disciplinary training in both Law and Finance.
At an undergraduate level, he holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science Hons. Vincent subsequently completed his professional accountancy training in December 2000 and subsequently achieved the status of Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant.
Educated at Oxford University and King’s College London, Vincent in addition holds postgraduate Masters level education in Financial Strategy and Property Law respectively.
Vincent’s personal interests include long-standing memberships of various organisations/clubs, such as Chatham House, Home House, and Ward of Cordwainer Club. He also maintains a keen interest in foreign travel, youth mentoring and martial arts.
